Historically Black and Latino communities have had higher uninsured rates. However, a recent report from the Department of Health and Human Services shows a surge in enrollment by nearly 50% from Black and Latino Americans for the Affordable Care Act, lowering the uninsured rate to a record low of 8% this year. The report also highlights the continuing need for more comprehensive data collection on race and ethnicity to better address health inequities. This is great progress in ensuring that there is access to #affordable healthcare for all American families. At Ayin Health, our proprietary IT platform has integrated race, ethnicity, and language data to address health disparity data limitations which can be used in real time to improve #HealthEquity. More coming from Ayin towards the end of the year.
